I have been teaching a lot of Reiki classes lately. In fact, I have taught more Reiki classes this year than ever before. In general, I find that more and more people are being called to do healing work, and Reiki is one of the most accessible methods around. In years past, I have  trained and attuned more people to Level I than the other levels. I found that most people wanted to learn the skills to use on themselves and their families, but not necessarily to practice in a formal way. This year, I am watching that trend change. In the past year I have trained more Master level Reiki practitioners than in all other years combined! Reiki is now becoming something that people want to do as a career!

When I asked my students what they need in order to transition from student to paid professional, they all mentioned one thing; business skills. It can be hard for people to get their heads around transforming something akin to a spiritual practice into a paid profession. But people are being called to do just that. After all, we need healing in this world more than ever.

As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I am dedicated to my students and committed to helping them in any way at any point on their journey. I wanted to offer them whatever I could to help them succeed as Reiki practitioners. I began taking note of the skills I learned over the years that helped me create a successful Reiki business. I began offering coaching sessions to my Reiki students, which were designed to take the student from where they were to the next level. These have been very successful.

As part of the coaching program, I put together a product called the Reiki Toolkit; a Reiki Master Toolkit and a Reiki Practitioner Toolkit.  In order to reach more practitioners, I will be offering a teleclass called "Building Your Reiki Business". The teleclass will help practitioners develop an action plan that they can then carry out in order to transform their dreams into reality. Topics to be covered include where to work, how to get the word out, how much to charge, making your business unique, and teaching classes. The teleclass is open to everyone, including Level I Reiki practitioners and those who are considering taking Reiki training (with me or someone else). The cost of the teleclass is only $10, which should make it accessible for virtually everyone. The only additional fee would be the cost of the phone call if you do not have a calling plan.
